Our Story

Nice to meet you! We’re Loren, Dana & “Teddy” (our sweet dog). We visited  to Todos Santos in 2021 and immediately fell in love with the town, its people and location. We made it our 6 month home (November through May) during that visit. As we became part of the community we learned about the vibrant art community, its importance to Todos Santos  and the struggles the art community was facing due to the growth of Todos Santos and rising commercial rents.

We also learned that with the towns growth came real challenges for many-long time residents of Todos Santos-from soaring land prices to higher rents and the raising cost of food.

We were unsure of what we could do (other than contribute to this problem). We  became aware  of an off grid parcel of land for sale in the Las Playitas area at a reasonable price. After many hours of discussion, Dana and I decided we could do something other than contribute to the problem and decided to buy the property and construct art studios which could be made available to local artists to rent at an affordable rate (on a reduced scale)

At the same time, Dana suggested that part of the land could  be set up as garden plots to be used by anyone interested in growing organic foods for friends or families or for those experiencing food insecurity.

Our hope is to create a collaborative and supportive community THAT WILL give back to Todos Santos for years to come.
